Closing Day - Frying Pan Open (Exact date TBD)
The season concludes with the annual frying pan open. Shotgun start at 7:00 AM to beat the heat. come out and enjoy this final tournament before Rams Hill closes for the summer. Lunch and awards will follow immediately after the tournament.
Ram-Ryder Cup (Day 3)
The third and final day of the three day tournament pitting the women of Rams Hill against the men of Rams Hill. The final day’s format is singles head-to-head match play competition (net scoring). Each winner will generate one point for their overall team (men or women). Ties will contribute a half point to the overall team.
Men will play white tees and women will play red tees.
A celebratory awards lunch will follow the day three competition.

This is the second day of the three day tournament pitting the women of Rams Hill against the men of Rams Hill. The second day’s format is alternating shot. Two-player men’s teams will play head-to-head against two-player women’s teams in a match play alternating shot format (net scoring). Each winning twosome will generate one point for their overall team (men or women). Ties contribute a half point to the overall team.
Men will play white tees and women will play red tees.

Men will play white tees and women will play red tees.
Women’s Spring Fling
Regular Tuesday play will be replaced by the annual Spring Fling. It’s a crazy, non-traditional day on the course to welcome in spring. A fresh Spring lunch to follow the day’s play.
Men’s and Women’s Club Championships
Two days of stroke play competition to crown both the men’s and women’s Rams Hill club champions. A weekend event with play beginning at noon on Saturday and 11:00 am on Sunday . Champions will be selected for both gross and net score categories. The two-day event will conclude on Sunday with a celebratory dinner at 6:00 PM in the Santa Rosa Room.
Men’s Member-Guest Tournament
A three day event welcoming the guests of the Rams Hill Men’s club. Day one (Tuesday) begins with an optional group “horse race” battle at 3:00 PM. Day two kicks-off with a putting competition from 9:00 am to 10:45 am, then the two-man team competition with tee times beginning at 11:00 am. Day three is an early shot gun (8:00 AM) for day two of the team competition. An awards lunch follows the day-three competition. The guest greens fee rate has been set at $125, which is the same as in 2022.
Women’s Member-Member Tournament
Two day Women’s Member-Member tournament. Shotgun start both days at 8:30 AM. Awards and lunch in Clubhouse after Wednesday’s play. Lunch paid by RHWGC.
The Borrego Cup
These dates are the currently tentative dates, and must be confirmed with DeAnza Country Club. A three day event to crown the men’s champion of the Borrego Valley. This tournament features the men’s Clubs of Rams Hill, DeAnza Country Club, and The Borrego Springs Resort. Day one will be an 8:30 AM reverse shotgun start at Rams Hill. Price to be determined.
Women’s Member-Guest Tournament
A two day event welcoming the guests of the Rams Hill Women’s club. An awards lunch follows the day-two competition.
Men’s Member-Member Tournament
Two day Men’s Member-Member tournament. Wednesday tee times beginning at 8:00 AM. Thursday 8:00 AM reverse shotgun start.
Men’s and Women’s Match Play Begins
Ring in the New Year with the start of men’s and women’s match play. Brackets and pairings will be posted in the pro shop. please coordinate with your playing partner as required.
Women’s Holiday Scramble and Lunch
Women’s regular Tuesday play will be replaced with the Holiday Scramble. Bring your holiday cheer and enjoy a fun day on the course followed by and a special lunch in the clubhouse. Lunch provided by RHWGC.
Ramateur Tournament - Course closed to member play
The Ramateur includes two days of individual net stroke-play competition on our championship Tom Fazio-designed golf course, plus food, prizes, giveaways and other friendly competitions in our Full Swing Simulator and outdoor game area (cornhole, tennis-ball golf and more). Prizes for low-gross winners as well. Multiple flights based on number of entrants. Players must be Amateur players and must have an active GHIN number to participate.
Opening Day - Members’ Hour
Make your own tee time to kick off the season with an hour of tee times dedicated to Member play. Enjoy leading Rams Hill into the 2022/23 season.
Golf Members’ Dinner
All Golf Members and their spouses/significant others are invited to the Rams Hill Club House for a dinner sponsored by Club Management. Dennis and Chef Eduardo promise to make this year’s dinner a special evening. Bob will present this year’s Member Gifts.
Nine & Wine
Enjoy an easy nine followed by wine and light refreshments at the club house. Shotgun start. Sign up and pay in the pro shop.
